Meet Our Therapist

Megan Koehler, CSWA

My name is Megan Koehler. I began my journey working with people in 2012 while doing vocational work alongside adults with developmental disabilities. Since then, I have known my passion is to help others. I graduated with my Masters of Social Work in 2020 from George Fox University and set out into my career with a growth mindset . I have found working with people to be an honor and I feel gratitude for finding my calling. I understand how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for support, and I don’t take that lightly.

In my free time, I enjoy being outside and tackling backpacking trails in the PNW. When I am home, I spend time with my cats, Josephine and Eleanor, gardening, and hosting friends for a meal. I fill my time with people and places that bring me joy. What brings YOU joy?

Our Approach

DeVine Therapy offers individual counseling utilizingevidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based approaches to address concerns such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, and complex grief. I strive to cultivate a space where all can feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported—where your story is met with compassion, not judgment. I bring honesty, authenticity, and a belief in your capacity to grow—even in the face of challenge. I enjoy working with people who are motivated to create change in their everyday lives. They may be carrying the weight of generational trauma, depression, anxiety or other stressors. They come to therapy with an aspiration to break cycles, for themselves and the people around them. They are contemplative and capable of imagining a life with more grace and self-compassion.
